WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

Khaki Fever organised us the most exceptional honeymoon in Southern Africa. It was everything we had hoped for. We had excellent wildlife viewing, and enjoyed peace and quiet in the beautiful, luxurious lodges that Julie chose for us. Everything was just perfect.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

Our party of seven first-time visitors to South Africa was privileged to have the expert help of Julie from Khaki Fever Safaris to craft our first ever safari in Africa. Julie ensured we had a most memorable and enjoyable experience of the African bush which we could easily have missed out on – including full day Kruger safaris with a very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, experienced guide. We saw many different species including the big 5 at close range in the most beautiful settings imaginable. Our lodge was superb with everything we could want, and with it’s own range of “plains game” which greeted us on arrival – a most wonderful introduction to our African stay. Our trip also included a Panorama Route Tour with the Magnificent Blyde River Canyon.  Many thanks Julie for organising a perfect trip in every way which totally exceeded our expectations!

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

Julie and the team at Khaki Fever Safaris did the most fantastic job of organising a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me and my friends when we visited South Africa. Julie understood our brief completely, and provided a great selection of offerings, tailored to our group and was very prompt at getting back to us with any questions we had. The option we chose was absolutely perfect – beautiful accommodation in a tranquil setting surrounded by so many gorgeous animals, delicious meals, fantastic drivers and guides and wonderful day trips to Kruger National Park and surrounding areas. Right from the moment we arrived in South Africa, we felt so welcome – from a handwritten note and gorgeous stainless steel drink bottle gift from Julie and the team, to her checking in along the way to make sure we were having a wonderful time. Thanks so much again – we can’t wait to come back again one day!

7 DAYS

Botswana

Botswana is a notoriously expensive safari destination (the government has adopted a “high cost / low impact” strategy to better preserve the country’s pristine wilderness), but over the last two years more “affordable” bush camps have popped up in some of Botswana’s prime wilderness areas, making this world-class safari destination more accessible to more nature-loving travelers!

Enjoy spectacular scenery and abundant birdlife in the Moremi Game Reserve; watch elephants splashing in muddy waterholes and lions hunting in Savuti; and enjoy an exhilarating walking safari in the Okavango Delta – or simply soak up all the beauty while on a peaceful mekoro ride (traditional dug-out canoe) on the Okavango Delta’s palm-lined channels.

From Big 5 game viewing, to unspoilt wilderness and peace and quiet, we’ve scouted out the most affordable bush camps in northern Botswana’s best locations, in order to bring you an unforgettable safari experience that won’t break the bank.

This is simply an example itinerary that can be tweaked and changed to suit your needs. This is also why we don’t put prices on our itineraries – we specialize in tailor-making our trips for each individual client. If you like the sound of this itinerary, then send us a direct email enquiry, or fill out the detailed enquiry form below.

TIP

There are also 4, 5 and 8-night options between similar “budget” camps in the area. Please let us know how long you’d like your trip to be!

This is an excellent itinerary for any first-time visitors to Botswana, or anyone on a budget. It’s great for couples, friends, or for families. We can easily extend your vacation to include Chobe National Park, or even Victoria Falls where there are many affordable options available! Please note, due to safety reasons, no children under 12 are permitted on this trip. For more “budget options” check out our classic mobile safaris.
