Okavango & Vic Falls
Adventure Safari
in Botswana & Zimbabwe
This trip is the epitome of adventure! It’s glamping at its most authentic and it allows you to be truly immersed in the wild environment around you. The Okavango is famous for its exquisite watery-wonderland scenery and abundant wildlife – hippos, elephants and gorgeous birds will greet you on the waterways, while lions, red lechwe, leopards, and hyenas are common sightings in Moremi. The best part of a glamping safari? Hot bucket-showers, dinner under the stars, and coffee in your cosy tent at sunrise! Enjoy two nights in a lovely lodge before heading to Africa’s adventure capital – Victoria Falls. This is a fun town with plenty on offer. From white-water rafting and river cruises, to bungee jumping and eating out – you’ll have to decide how to fit it all in! What’s a mobile safari?

DAY 1 | MAUN – MOBILE SAFARI (OKAVANGO DELTA) lD
Meet your safari representative at your accommodation in Maun for an early start into the Okavango Delta! Arrive at the mokoro station and meet your mokoro guides/poler. Spend 3 hours on your mokoro gliding along the tranquil, crystal-clear waters of the Okavango. Spot frogs, birds, fish and animals in this non-disruptive mode of “safari”. Once in your private riverside campsite, enjoy lunch followed by an hour or two of relaxation while our staff sets up camp. Your guide will then take you for a 2 -3-hour late afternoon walking safari where you’ll learn about this fascinating landscape and the animals that inhabit it. Arrive back at camp and enjoy dinner around the camp fire. Spend the evening under the stars listening to your guide’s stories of the bush.
DAY 2 | MOBILE SAFARI, OKAVANGO DELTA BLD
It’s an early morning wake up followed by breakfast. Depart on a 4-hour morning walking safari and enjoy the truly wild environment you’re in. No other people, no vehicles, no sounds except for the birds and animals all around you! Return to camp at around 10 am for a hearty brunch. Relax in camp or ask your guides to take you for a swim and opportunity to freshen up and wash in the revitalizing Okavango waters. Enjoy a 3-hour afternoon mokoro trip and arrive back in camp before sunset. Enjoy dinner around the campfire.
DAY 3 | MOBILE SAFARI, OKAVANGO DELTA – MOREMI GAME RESERVE BLD
After breakfast depart on a 2-hour walking safari. Travel by mokoro back to the polling station and say good bye to your mokoro guides and hello to your safari guide who will be waiting for you to take you onto Moremi Game Reserve. Drive through Moremi to your campsite at Xini Lagoon. You may already have spotted red lechwe, zebra, giraffe, cheetah or even lions! Arrive in camp at lunchtime. Depart on an afternoon game drive and return to camp just after sunset. Relax around the campfire listening to the sounds of the night.
DAY 4+5 | MOREMI GAME RESERVE BLD
Spend your mornings exploring the Western side of the Moremi Game Reserve. This region is a wildlife-rich area with varying habitats and wonderful sights. Stop off for coffee in the bush and return to camp by mid-morning for a delicious brunch. Have a traditional bucket-shower (hot water in a bucket hoisted into a tree) and a nap before embarking on your afternoon game drive. Return to camp for sunset drinks and dinner under the stars!
