ITINERARY DETAILS

KEY: BLD in itinerary: B = breakfast included, L = Lunch included, D = Dinner included

DAY 1 | NAIROBI – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK lD

Meet your safari representative at Wilson Airport, Nairobi, in preparation for your light-aircraft flight to Amboseli National Park. This gorgeous park is famous for its large elephant herds, diverse habitats and fantastic birdlife. This is also home to the traditional Maasai people, as well as the most gorgeous views of Mount Kilimanjaro – the world’s tallest freestanding mountain. Enjoy a short drive to your camp, followed by lunch and your first afternoon game drive.

DAY 2+3 | AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK BLD

Each morning you’ll set off early to search for Amboseli’s fantastic wildlife and discover her gorgeous landscapes and scenery. Enjoy coffee out in the “bush” and return to camp for breakfast. Each day is spent at leisure. Read a book, take a dip in the pool, or watch as elephants drink from the camp’s nearby waterhole. Opt for a safari walk instead of a game drive or visit the local Maasai community to learn more about this fascinating culture. Each day you will enjoy two safari activities of your choice. At night, sip on a drink as you watch the sun set and enjoy a delicious dinner under the stars on the camp’s deck.

DAY 4 | AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK – MASAI MARA RESERVE BLD

Wake up bright and early for your last game drive at Amboseli. Return to the local airstrip for your flight to the Masai Mara Reserve. Here, in this world-renowned wildlife reserve, you can witness the fascination Great Migration in all its splendor (where millions of wildebeest and zebra cross the Mara River in search of grazing). Each month of the year showcases a different “event'” of the migration, but no matter when you visit, you have a high chance of seeing predators like cheetahs, lions, leopards, and unique antelope, as well as hippos, crocodiles and other exciting, lesser-known creatures! Enjoy your first afternoon game drive in the Mara, followed by a sunset drink in the bush and an evening overlooking the glorious grassy plain that lies in front of your lodge.

DAY 5+6 | MASAI MARA RESERVE BLD

Each morning you’ll set off early to search for the Mara’s exciting and iconic inhabitants. Enjoy a sunrise coffee in the “bush” and return to camp for breakfast. Each day is spent at leisure. Look for bird species around the camp, have a lunchtime nap, or lookout for animals visiting the plains in front of the camp. Each day you will enjoy two safari activities of your choice, or opt for an extra activity like hot-air ballooning over the Masai Mara! At night, sip on a sundowner drink while on your game drive and return to camp for a delicious dinner on the outdoor deck, as you listen to Africa’s nighttime sounds.

DAY 7 | MASAI MARA RESERVE – DIANI BEACH BLD

Enjoy the last game drive of your trip and fingers crossed you see all the animals you haven’t yet seen! Pack up and head to the airstrip for your light-aircraft flight to the Kenyan coast. Diani Beach is a laidback beach town in southern Kenya and it has all the tropical highlights to ensure you have a relaxing and indulgent end to your safari.

DAY 8+9 | DIANI BEACH BLD

The next two days are yours to fill as you please. You can decide how busy you want to be at Diani. Lie on the white sandy beach and absorb some vitamin D, go snorkeling and swimming in the turquoise waters in front of your hotel, sleep in late, explore the nearby town, play a round of golf or try your hand at deep-sea fishing! Some activities are an extra cost. Enjoy evening cocktails at the hotel bar while having all your meals included means you don’t have to worry about making dinner plans!

DAY 10 | DIANI BEACH – NAIROBI B

Enjoy your last breakfast at Diani and prepare to leave for the airport after checking out of your suite. Return to Nairobi and prepare for your onward arrangements.
